What is Samco ?

Samco is a co-operative buying group owned by its member shareholders and operates from offices in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire.

Samco merged with Essex based Shrim Farms in 2002. A company also with over half a century of purchasing experience. So Samco has considerable buying power and attracts keen prices for a diverse range of farming inputs and services.

Samco also works together with Anglia Farmers Ltd., the UKís largest agricultural purchasing group. By combining our purchasing for products such as telecommunications and electricity we can offer some unbeatable deals, for example members typically save 40% on mobile phone bills.

Samco members get the best of both worlds; a local office and a personal service, acting as their central purchasing department, but with access to 1300 suppliers nationwide. Not just on agricultural inputs, but also electricity, gas, healthcare, life insurance, building, plumbing & electrical supplies, white goods and telecoms, We help our farmer members save up to £70 per hectare on input costs.

Samco's vision is to exceed our membersí expectations by continually improving our service delivery and the prices of purchases. South Anglia's Mutual Co-Operative.
